Hi, I'm Jess —

Blending design, strategy, and storytelling to build products and careers that break from the linear. This site is a home for the projects, experiments, and ideas that have shaped my journey so far—and the ones still unfolding.

Hurry up to Relax

Hurry up to Relax is an experimentation towards bringing together two seemingly incompatible things: speed and reflection. Often when we think of a place to bring about reflection we think of quiet places of solitude. What is often overlooked as a solution towards processing stress and bringing a sense of peace is kinesthetic movement and the manipulation of light. Just as people go running or take a long drive to process the day, we can use light, speed, and connection as elements for processing our everyday lives. I designed a meditative space that elicits self reflection while students are walking from class to class.

Untethered

Untethered is a portable dwelling concept that reimagines mobile living for the digital nomad generation, blending architectural principles with modern work lifestyles to create modular, sustainable spaces that move with us. This project reflects my cross-disciplinary approach to designing adaptive environments at the intersection of architecture, digital design, and human behavior.

Ethic Marketplace

A platform transforming how we shop with purpose, Ethic Marketplace connects conscious consumers with sustainable products while removing the research burden. As a founding team member, I led product strategy and design, crafting an intuitive experience that makes ethical shopping seamless and impactful for both consumers and mission-driven brands.

TEDx San Luis Obispo

In my TEDx talk, I explored how non-linear career paths can lead to meaningful work by bridging disciplines like architecture, product design, and entrepreneurship. Sharing my own journey, I highlighted how embracing ambiguity and cross-pollinating skills helps us solve complex problems and create fulfilling careers.
